Many long strings with most offered in full load lots. Weighing conditions were attractive for buyers as most cattle were hauled in over night, estimated dressed cost 165.00-170.00. Slaughter cows 4.00 to 8.00 lower, bulls steady to 4.00 lower.
Traditional slaughter weight lambs were 6.00 to 8.00 higher, except 100-110 lbs 10.00 to 15.00 higher, non traditional slaughter weights sold sharply higher. Feeder lambs not tested. Slaughter ewes sold mixed, Good 2-3 ewes and Cull 1 10.00 to 15.00 higher, while Good 4-5 and Utility mostly steady. Very good demand for light weight slaughter lambs, good demand for traditional weight. Very good demand for slaughter ewes, moderate to good demand for bred ewes.
