As filed

Compared to last week: Yearling feeder steers 3.00 to 6.00 lower, yearling feeder heifers not well compared. Light fleshed heifers off grass sold higher compared to last week's heavier fleshed heifers, while those out of backgrounding yards carrying quite a bit of flesh were lower. Moderate to good demand for yearlings, flesh dependent. Light demand for the few packages of spring born calves offered as the persistent rainy, dreary weather has created terrible sloppy feed yard conditions. Several long strings of yearlings offered in full loads and multiple load lots. A lower day in the cattle futures complex again, along with a tough fat cattle market, and poor yard conditions put pressure on the market this week.
