Compared to two weeks ago: Few comparable sales of feeder steers and heifers steady to firm considering flesh condition. A nice offering of spring born calves, these sold readily as there were plenty of buyers on the seats wanting these light calves, very good demand. A large offering of yearling steers and heifers, many long strings offered in full loads and multiple load lots. Very good demand for yearlings. Flesh condition was mostly moderate to heavy, few light fleshed. The yearling trade was active as the cash fed cattle market continues to hold in the 240s and there is great interest in refilling empty pens quickly while the yearlings are available.
