Compared to last week: Yearling feeder steers 8.00 to 12.00 higher, yearling feeder heifers not well compared. A limited offering of spring born calves, steer calves sold with a much higher undertone, heifers too lightly tested last week to make a comparison. Very good demand for this offering of high quality, moderated fleshed loads of yearling steers, good demand for the limited yearling heifer offering. Many buyers on the seats bidding aggressively to get these yearlings bought while they are available. Demand improved to good this week for this light offering of calves as there were quite a few buyers wanting to get some calves started on feed. Slaughter cows 8.00 to 10.00 lower, bulls 4.00 to 5.00 lower.
