Compared to last week Feeder Steers 350 to 600 Steady, 600 to 750 Steady to 4.00 higher, Feeder Heifers 450 to 500 4.00 lower, 500 to 600 8.00 to 10.00 higher, 600 to 650 4.00 higher. Very Good Demand in the seats for Several Long Strings, Load Lots, and Packages which sold on an Active Market. The entire Offering was Home Raised, had Spring and Fall vaccinations, and came straight off the cow. Recent moisture resulted in several consignment cancellations and created muddy pens at the Barn with overnight cattle displaying quite a bit of mud some with a touch of stress, cattle that came in day of sale were largely clean and open haired with an attractive presentation. Clean or muddy, the cattle were well received by the buyers. The next Sale is October 28, Weigh-up Cow Special; November 3, Spring Calf and Yearling Special with 100 Yearlings and 8,000 Spring Calves on the Books. Don't forget to Vote on Election Day!
