The last reported sale was three weeks ago, therefore no market comparison may be made. Very Good Demand for Several Strings, Load Lots, and Many Packages of Feeder Steers, Feeder Heifers, and Replacement Heifers which all sold on a Strong, Active Market throughout the entire sale. The Offering consisted nearly entirely of Home Raised Cattle which had been weaned a long time. Cattle displayed clean, open hair with no tagg and flesh was mostly Light to Moderate, with a few instances of Moderate Plus Flesh. Several sets of Replacement Heifers commanded Strong Demand and sold on a Very Active Market, outselling their steer mates in several instances. The Next Sale is a Bred Cow Sale and Stout Charolais Bull Sale. February 28 is a Feeder Cattle Sale with the Deep Creek Bull Sale offering a Premium set of Angus Bulls and Reputation Replacement Heifers.
