Compared to last week: steers 500 to 550 lbs 3.00 to 4.00 lower, 551 to 700 lbs mostly steady with instances up to 5.00 higher on 650 to 700 lbs. Heifers 500 to 650 lbs mostly steady. Moderate to good demand for today's calf offering featuring mostly packages with just a couple loads available. Flesh condition varied a little more this week, but mostly light to moderate. About one third of the calves offered today were weaned, usually over 30 days. Quality slightly less attractive overall than last week, most calves were average to attractive in quality today. A moderate to active market seen for this offering. The area is still experiencing warm temps for this time of year with no moisture, some feeders are experiencing some dust pneumonia issues from the very dry conditions. This is the last feeder cattle sale of 2020, next feeder cattle sale is January 7, 2021. Bred sale Tuesday, December 15.
