Moderate market activity today with a smaller crowd of order buyers and a few producers bidding on cattle. The area is receiving some winter weather today which has made travel difficult in some areas. The last few days have been brutal on the live and feeder cattle futures. Today was another day of large losses with live cattle now well below 1.00 for the rest of 2020. Feeders are very reluctant to procure more cattle in these uncertain times. This auction plans on having a feeder cattle sale next Thursday, April 9, but watch local listings to be certain.
