First reported sale in recent weeks so an accurate trend can not be established. Today's sale included roughly 900 feeder cattle with the remaining receipts in pairs, breds, and weigh ups. One string of steers and several packages, including fall calves, made up the feeder cattle offering. Good demand for the string, light to moderate demand for packages. Flesh varied, but mostly moderate flesh overall. Package quality varied, the string was mostly attractive in quality. A moderate market at best with a very limited crowd of order buyers attending. The small number of receipts made it very difficult to put any kind of load together today. Warm, dry weather this week has finally allowed field work to progress.
