First feeder cattle sale in three weeks so an accurate price trend can not be established. Good to very good demand for a large offering of feeders. Many packages and loads and several multiple loads of same weight cattle available, with the majority of the cattle being home raised. Flesh ranged from moderate to some heavy flesh at times, quite a few big finishing type cattle in the offering today. Quality mostly average to attractive. A few cancellations from the sale today due to the very cold temps and bitter windchills which are expected to last throughout next week. An active market with a few less buyers and farmer feeders in the seats. Next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, February 20.
