Compared to Thursday: steers 500 to 650 lbs mostly steady with instances up to 4.00 lower on 550 to 600 lbs. Heifers 450 to 600 lbs mostly steady. Today's sale featured many consignments of Red Angus cattle and these replacement type heifers saw excellent demand. Moderate to good demand for feeding type cattle with best demand seen for steers from reputation ranches selling in load lots. Many attractive cattle to choose from, most of these off the cow with full preconditioning. Flesh mostly light to moderate. A moderate to active market with order buyers, bull breeders, and producers interested in the offering today. The area is getting a little rain again today expected to continue into tomorrow, this may affect Thursday's sale numbers. Farmers are struggling to finish harvest in these wet conditions. Next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, October 28, expecting 7000, weather permitting.
