Compared to last week: Feeder steers 500-900 lbs. sold unevenly steady. Feeder heifers 550-750 lbs. sold 2.00-7.00 higher, 850-950 lbs. heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Demand was good. Many load lots in todays offering. With the open winter many of the feeder cattle are putting on extra flesh, buyers buy accordingly to flesh amount. The next feeder cattle auction will be Jan. 30th, expecting 4000 head of feeders, starting at 9:00 am.
