As filed

Compared to last week: Few comparable weights of steers and heifers, as this week had nearly twice as many offered as last week, instances of 4.00 to 8.00 higher on steers and 5.00 higher on heifers. Very good demand for this nice offering of yearling steers and heifers, many full loads and multiple load lots. The market was very active, especially so on the steers as the quality was high and the flesh was light and attractive. The heifers were more uneven in their flesh condition, as there were more carrying a moderate plus to even heavy flesh condition. Weighing condition was favorable for buyers as the weather has been hot and muggy. Next week's sale will start at 9:30 am with 2,000 feeder cattle expected.
