Good to very good demand for today's large offering featuring many loads and packages of home raised cattle along with a few consignments of backgrounded cattle. Grass type cattle see excellent demand. A few consignments off the cow again this week but most of the cattle were long time weaned. Flesh varied, from moderate to some heavy at times. Lots of attractive quality calves to choose from, less tag seen than last week as yards have frozen. An active market seen for this offering. Very cold weather forecasted for the rest of the week and weekend with temperatures well below zero and wind. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, January 17.
