Several strings and loads of yearlings, most in moderate plus flesh with some heavy flesh at times. More big, weaned type calves offered than last week with about two thirds of the today's calf offering being weaned, most 60 days or over. The majority of the calves had full preconditioning, those without still see discounts at times. Varied flesh on calves today but more flesh overall than last week. Mild weather continues to make it much easier for calves to gain. An active market seen for this offering. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, December 20, this will be the last feeder cattle sale of 2023.
