Lower undertones noted on heifer calves. Moderate to good demand for a couple strings and several loads and packages of yearlings, mostly steers. Quality similar to last week, mostly plain to average, with more flesh on the cattle today as quite a few came out of lots. Moderate to good demand for calves with load lots seeing the best demand. Almost all the calves were off the cow and preconditioning varied, those without all their shots are discounted at times resulting in wide price spreads. Flesh varied, quite a few creep fed calves today and some tag at times. A moderate to active market seen for this offering. Quite a bit of crop in the country yet and producers are busy trying to wrap up harvest. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, November 15.
