As filed

A much lighter offering than last week with most weight classes not well compared. Lower undertones noted on steers 850 to 899 lbs and steady undertones on steers 950 to 999 lbs. Good demand for this offering featuring one string of steers and a handful of packages. Steers came out of the yard in mostly moderate plus flesh condition. Lots of packages in light flesh as many of these came off grass, quite a few were fall calves. A moderate to active market with a lighter attendance of buyers today. Very hot temps the last few days with heat advisories in effect. Some areas saw rain yesterday, chances of rain all next week. Watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
