Heifers 550 to 600 lbs and 700 to 750 lbs mostly steady, 601 to 650 lbs 4.00 to 6.00 lower with other weight classes of heifers not well compared. Very good demand for grass type cattle again this week. Good demand for feeding type cattle. Many loads and packages of home raised cattle offered as well as several strings of backgrounded cattle. Flesh varied, less flesh overall than seen last week. Quality mostly average to attractive and cattle had cleaner hides today, pens have frozen up again. An active market seen for this offering. About 1100 head of cancellations due to snow and icy roads yet again this week. Weather remains colder than normal for this time of year, lots of snow around which has not really started to melt.
