Compared to last week: most weight classes not well compared, best test on steers 950 to 1000 lbs 2.00 to 4.00 lower on a narrow comparison. A couple strings and loads and quite a few packages made up today's offering which was met with good demand. Cattle both off grass and out of yards with flesh ranging from light to moderate plus with some heavy flesh at times. Quite a few of the heifers today were tested opens off grass. Overall quality slightly less attractive than last week. An active market for the offering. Hot and dry weather so far this week with cooler weather coming by Friday with chances for rain. Corn silage harvest is well underway. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, September 14.
