Today was the yearly Saturday weaned and preconditioned calf sale. Many. many packages and quite a few loads made up this offering, all fully preconditioned and longtime weaned. Flesh varied quite a bit today, from light to some heavy, depending on what feedstuffs were available to producers to wean. An active market with a few less buyers than a normal weekday sale, but still plenty in the seats and eager to buy cattle. Much cooler temperatures expected for next week with much of the area seeing some snowfall today. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, December 8.
