Different weight classes than last week so an accurate price trend can not be established. Good to very good demand for yearlings again this week with best demand again seen for those off grass. Flesh mostly light to moderate plus. Overall quality more attractive than last week. An active market for yearlings today. Just one consignment of spring calves offered, these were met with light to moderate demand. The calves had been preconditioned and were off the cow. Harvest is in fill swing in the area, both corn and beans, keeping producers and farmer feeders busy. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, October 6, expecting a good run of yearlings and more calves.
