Different weight classes today than last week so an accurate price trend can not be established. Good to very good demand for today's offering of a handful of loads and many packages. Similar flesh to last week, from light to moderate plus depending on where the cattle were coming from. Slightly less attractive overall quality then last week, quality this week average to attractive. Several consignments coming to town due to the drought, most of these were replacement heifers again this week. An active market seen for this offering despite a more limited crowd of buyers today. Some areas received rain over the weekend but temperatures have returned to the 90's and are expected to reach 100 for the coming holiday weekend. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, July 7.
