Compared to Wednesday: steer calves 550 to 850 lbs mostly steady with instances up to 3.00 lower on 550 to 600 lbs and up to 3.00 higher on 650 to 700 lbs. Heifers 550 to 700 lbs steady to 3.00 lower. Good demand seen for many packages and a handful of loads which made up today's special Saturday feeder cattle sale. Varied flesh again today, slightly less flesh overall than on Wednesday. Quality similar to Wednesday with many attractive cattle to choose from. Market activity mostly active, a few less buyers seen today than during the week. Weather still dreary and wet today but temps remain much warmer than normal for January. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, January 13.
