Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 850 lbs and 951 to 1050 lbs 3.00 to 4.00 higher, 901 to 950 lbs steady to 1.00 higher. Best test on heifers 750 to 800 lbs and 850 to 950 lbs steady to 1.00 higher. Good to very good demand for today's large yearling offering, the majority of which was three long strings off grass. Quality and flesh both mostly attractive today, most cattle in light to moderate flesh. An active market with many buyers attending the auction. Cooler weather this week with much of the area seeing a freeze last night. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, September 16.
