Compared to last week: best test on steers 700 to 1000 lbs mostly steady except 750 to 800 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 higher and 850 to 900 lbs not well compared. Best test on heifers 650 to 750 lbs 3.00 to 4.00 higher, 751 to 800 lbs mostly steady. Good to very good demand for another large offering of packages, loads, and strings today. Lighter cattle, including fall calves, continue to see very good demand as there are more options for these cattle and much feed inventory to be had. Replacement heifers also continue to sell with very good demand. Quality today similar to last week with many attractive quality cattle to choose from. Slightly more flesh on the cattle than last week with more in moderate to moderate plus flesh with some heavy flesh at times. An active market for the offering with good buyer attendance, a few less producers this week as many are trying to wrap up spring planting. Dry weather predicted for the area for the next week with temps climbing to the low 90's. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, June 3.
