As filed

Compared to last week: steers 600 to 650 lbs, 700 to 750 lbs, 801 to 850 lbs, and 951 to 1000 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 lower, 751 to 800 lbs 3.00 to 6.00 higher, 851 to 950 lbs mostly steady. A lighter test on heifers with best test on heifers 800 to 850 lbs 3.00 lower. Moderate to good demand for many strings, loads, and packages of steers in today's offering. Quality similar to the last few weeks with many attractive cattle on offer, demand depended mostly on flesh condition. Cattle with too much flesh are met with light to moderate demand. A lighter offering of heifers today with quite a few of these being sold by the head as replacements, these were met with good demand. A moderate to active market for this large offering. The spring weather continues to be very favorable and field work in the area is well under way. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, May 6.
