Compared to last week: best test on steers 900 to 950 and 1000 to 1050 lbs steady to 4.00 lower. Not as many heifers as last week to develop an accurate trend, steady undertones noted on heifers. Good demand for today's offering of mostly loads and strings with a few packages. Less flesh on the cattle today than last week with more cattle today in light to moderate flesh, one load coming right off grass. Quality was mostly attractive again today. An active market for today's offering with a more limited crowd today, many are busy haying and such. Crops and hay are looking very good right now as the weather has been hot and most of the area received a nice rain last night. Next feeder cattle sale is next Wednesday, July 24.
