Compared to last week: best test on steers 850 to 1000 lbs mostly steady. Best test on heifers 850 to 900 lbs 5.00 to 6.00 lower. Other weight classes of steers and heifers not well compared today. Moderate demand for today's offering of several strings, loads, and packages with best demand seen for multiple loads of the same weight cattle. Quality similar to last week, from average to attractive for the most part, and flesh mostly moderate plus. A mostly moderate market seen for today's offering. Area weather remained warm and dry all week and farmers are scrambling to get their remaining crop planted where ever possible. The futures have seen some improvement the last few days but buyers remain cautious when procuring cattle. The next feeder cattle sale in next Wednesday, June 12.
