No sale last week due to Memorial Day, compared to the large BBQ sale two weeks ago: best test on steers 850 to 899 lbs and 950 to 999 lbs 7.00 to 10.00 lower on a narrow comparison. Heifers not well tested today for comparison. Three strings of big finishing steers selling in loads made up the majority of the sale today. Flesh condition mostly moderate to heavy with some fill seen at times. Moderate to good demand for cattle today. Market activity moderate to active. Losses on live cattle futures the last couple days as well as feeder cattle futures today are putting some pressure on the market, especially on these finishing type cattle making up today's sale. Watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
