No sale last week due to Good Friday, compared to two weeks ago: steers 700 to 999 lbs 10.00 to 15.00 higher except 800 to 849 lbs not well compared. Best test on heifers 700 to 749 lbs 8.00 to 10.00 higher. A large offering of feeder cattle today selling mostly in strings and loads with many opportunities to buy multiple loads of same weight cattle to fill pens and pastures. Good to very good demand for all classes of cattle today including replacement heifers. Flesh condition varied, from moderate to heavy with some tag seen at times. Many attractive cattle to choose from. An active market with buyers determined to own cattle today. Recent snow and rain has made yards muddy again, warmer weather is expected for the weekend and next week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, April 17.
