Compared to last week: best test on steers 950 to 1000 lbs and 1050 to 1100 lbs 6.00 to 9.00 higher. Heifers not well tested for comparison either week. Good to very good demand for today's offering with most of the cattle coming from three outfits and selling in long strings. Quality mostly attractive today and flesh moderate to moderate plus. An active market with much more enthusiasm this week to get cattle bought. Last weekend and a few days this week saw very warm temps with heat indexes over 100. Cooler conditions expected for the coming week. No sale next Friday due to 4th of July holiday, watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale. Have a happy 4th of July!
