Compared to last week: best test on steers 750 to 800 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 higher with other weight classes not well compared. Good to very good demand for many packages and quite a few loads of both backgrounded and home raised cattle which made up today's offering. Several loads and part loads of replacement quality heifers from reputation outfits included in the offering, these were met with very good demand. Flesh varied, from light to some heavy flesh at times. Quality mostly average to attractive today, overall quality more attractive than last week. An active market with order buyers and farmer feeders in the seats, as well as some producers interested in replacements. Cleaner hides on the cattle this week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, April 8.
