A light offering last week due to the weather, sale not reported. Compared to two weeks ago: steers not well compared, lower undertones noted. Best test on heifers 550 to 650 lbs and 700 to 750 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Moderate to good demand for today's offering featuring many packages and quite a few loads. Flesh varied, from moderate to heavy. Varied quality as well, but mostly average to attractive. Many mixed colored cattle included in the offering. A moderate market seen today. Another day of triple digit losses on both live and feeder cattle futures have feeders spending more cautiously, especially with the rising grain prices. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, March 11.
