A much smaller offering than last week with best test on steers 750 to 800 lbs 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Other weight classes of steers and heifers not well tested for comparison. Moderate to good demand for today's offering, most of which was home raised. Quite a few loads available for such a light offering. A package of Bladie replacement heifers was met with very good demand. More flesh overall than last week with much of the offering in moderate to some heavy flesh. Quality varied, from plain to attractive. A moderate to active market for the offering. A very cold day today with wind chills well below zero, a warm up expected for the weekend into next week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, February 11.
