First reported sale in recent weeks so an accurate price trend can not be established. Good to very good demand for today's average to attractive quality yearling offering. The feature consignment was 1000 steers off grass, several other loads and many packages made up the rest of the offering. Flesh today mostly moderate to moderate plus. Some mud on the cattle today due to recent rains, this precip also kept spring calves at home for another week as producers wait for dryer conditions to market them. An active market today with buyers taking all loads of the cut when offered. Warm weather expected for the weekend. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, October 22, expecting 2500 yearlings and 2500 calves.
