A light offering of feeder cattle today with the feature consignment being 500 head of home raised fall calves in light flesh, these were met with very good demand. A handful of packages in light to moderate flesh were met with good demand. Quality mostly average to attractive today. An active market seen for this offering despite a more limited crowd of buyers attending the auction today. The drought in this area continues to worsen and many producers have started selling pairs off to try and conserve grass. Hay is also short and producers are struggling to get feed together.
