Compared to last week: best test on steers 750 to 800 lbs steady to 2.00 higher with other weight classes of steers not well compared today. Best test on heifers 600 to 700 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, 701 to 800 lbs 2.00 higher. Good to very good demand for all classes of cattle in today's offering. Mostly home raised cattle again this week, many loads were available as well as many packages to make loads. Flesh varied quite a bit today, from light to heavy. Overall quality more attractive than last week, most cattle average to attractive in quality today. An active market with much interest in finishing and grass type cattle alike. Dry conditions continue to be a concern for the area, many counties have burn bans in place and fire danger is high. No sale next week due to Good Friday, next feeder cattle sale is Friday, April 9. Happy Easter!
