Much lighter yearling offering than last week with steers not well tested today and best test on heifers 950 to 1000 lbs mostly steady. Moderate to good demand for one long string of spayed heifers and a handful of loads, mostly heifers, that made up today's yearling offering. Most of these still came off grass, flesh mostly light to moderate. Attractive quality on the string, more average quality on the remaining loads. No calves included in today's offering. A moderate to active market seen for these yearlings. The area received a winter storm yesterday leaving large amounts of snow and poor travel conditions which put some pressure on the market. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, October 30.
