Heifers 600 to 800 lbs 8.00 to 12.00 higher except 650 to 700 lbs not well compared. Good to very good demand for today's large offering which sold on an active market. Flesh ranged from moderate to some heavy at times, cattle in light enough flesh and weight to go to grass were met with excellent demand, especially those sold in loads. Grass conditions look excellent at this time, with plenty of moisture on hand and warmer weather the past week causing pastures to grow rapidly. Varied quality on the offering, with packages more plain to average in quality, and loads and strings mostly average to attractive in quality. Light cattle see very good demand also, as there is much feed inventory available and more enthusiasm to buy and feed cattle than seen earlier. Pairs and bred cattle expected for next week, watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
