Big run of cattle with several strings of yearling steers and heifers that were offered in multiple loads in the same sort. Multiple consignments of tested open replacement heifers gave buyers the opportunity to make full loads. an active market on todays yearlings with most being in light to moderate flesh condition, coming off pasture.

Nice run of spring born calves right off the cow and having two rounds of vaccinations. Calf quality today was outstanding and in very attractive condition. A less active market on the calves when compared to the yearlings. Most feed yards are experiencing muddy conditions and not ready for a bawling calf. A lower futures market and lack off demand for fat cattle has made buyers cautious and selective in their purchases. Next feeder sale will be October 9, 2026, expecting a large run of yearlings and spring born calves.
