Last weeks feeder sale was post pone due to a winter storm so the last feeder sale was three weeks ago. Over all comparisons to the last feeder sale would be generally 15.00 to 20.00 higher on all classes. A lot has changed in the cattle market during the last three weeks. Cash fed cattle are dollars higher week after week, futures market lagging, not able to keep up with the cash market. Very active market with a house full of buyers competing with the internet buyers. Flesh condition ranged from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate plus backgrounded cattle. Several long strings of reputation cattle offered buyers the opportunity to purchase multiple loads of one owner cattle in the same sort. Lots of part loads and packages available to choose from as will today. Mostly home raised cattle in todays offering. Several strings of reputation replacement heifers in today's offering were met with good demand. The next feeder sale is scheduled for Friday, April 21, 2023.
