Compared to last week: Steers from 550 lbs to 559 lbs were 3.00 to 6.00 higher, steers from 600 lbs to 749 lbs were steady to 3.00 lower, steers from 750 lbs to 799 lbs were steady to 4.00 higher. Limited comparisons on heifers but lower undertones were noted across the board. Several weather or Geo-political cancellations shortened up todays offering. Good to very good demand for the cattle that were able to make it to market today. Flesh condition ranged from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate plus cattle coming out of grow yards. The demand for replacement heifers was noticeably softer today on the limited supply. An active to very active market today with mostly order buyers and internet buyers procuring cattle.

The on feed report came out about as expected. The next feeder sale will be Friday, March 4th. Stay safe and eat beef.
