Compared to two weeks ago;feeder steers from 600 lbs to 649 lbs were steady to 3.00 higher, 650 lbs to 699 lbs were 6.00 to 8.00, 700 to 749 lbs were 2.00 to 4.00 lower. The only comparison available on the heifers were 650 lbs to 699 lbs and they were steady to 2.00 higher. No other comparisons made. Very good demand for all classes of steers and heifers this week. Several long strings available today offering buyers the opportunity to buy multiple loads of one owner cattle, lots of part loads and packages available today as well. Majority of the cattle today were light fleshed, suitable for summer grazing programs. Several consignments of high quality replacement heifers were meet with good buyer interest. Several market related cancellations as uncertainty hovers over the market like a black cloud. Next feeder sale will be in two weeks, April 24th.
