Last feeder sale was two weeks ago, makes for a limited comparison on todays auction. Best comparisons available on the 900 lbs. to 950 lbs. heifers was 4 to 6 lower. No other comparisons made, although lower undertones were felt in all classes throughout the sale. Flesh condition was attractive with most cattle coming straight off grass in light to moderate flesh condition. Plenty of buyers on the seats made for a fairly active market. A few weather related cancellations as some parts of the state continue to receive excessive moisture, especially the eastern side of the state. Next feeder sale will be Friday Sept. 27th, 2019. Expecting a large run of yearlings, along with some spring and fall calves consigned for this special anniversary sale.
