Compared to last Wednesday: Steers from 400 lbs to 549 lbs were 2.00 to 6.00 lower, steers from 550 lbs to 599 lbs were steady to 2.00 higher, steers from 600 lbs to 649 lbs were steady to 3.00 lower; heifers from 450 lbs to 549 lbs were mostly 6.00 to 8.00 lower. No other comparisons available. Market was active to very active on the full loads, less activity on part loads and packages. Most of the calves were light fleshed , right off the cow and fully pre-conditioned with two rounds of vaccinations. Several strings of reputation cattle in todays sale offering buyers the opportunity to purchase multiple loads of one owner cattle, lots of part loads and packages available to make loads out of. Overall quality not quite as fancy as last Wednesday's sale. Warm and dry conditions continue in the area. Next feeder cattle auction will be Friday, November 4th, expecting a large run of yearlings and calves.
