Compared to last week, Traditional slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 higher on a very light test. Non-traditional slaughter steers sold mostly steady to firm. Demand good. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows not reported due to Columbus Day holiday. Offerings included 211 slaughter steers, 168 slaughter heifers, 258 slaughter cows, 73 slaughter bulls, 237 dairy feeder calves, and 210 miscellaneous cattle.
