Compared to last month's sale, feeder steers and heifers traded mostly 20.00 to 30.00 lower on a lighter run. With drought conditions in this area, a larger run on thinner light weight calves are showing up at the auction. Short pasture and very little chance of rain will have beef producers weaning calves earlier at lighter weights.
