Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-4.00 higher. Packer demand moderate to good. Old thin cows continue to go to feed instead of slaughter as packers work to fill kill orders thru the end of the year when many sales will be closed due to the holidays. A total of 422 cows and bulls sold with 41 percent going to packers.
