Trade opened on plain-quality offerings, except for a few attractive drafts of unweaned calves. Quality improved as the sale progressed, lifting the market, with buyers placing more value on quality than on number of days weaned. Calves with the description Value-Added are fancy and unweaned. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady. Demand remains very good for replacement cows and thin fleshed cows to return to feed. Temperatures will remain consistent over the next 10 days, suitable for starting calves.
