Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 1.00-6.00 higher. Steer calves under 450 lbs sold steady; over 450 lbs mostly 2.00-6.00 higher, instance up to 10.00 higher. Heifer calves under 450 sold 6.00-12.00 higher; over 450 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Demand once again very good for all classes. Quality average to attractive. Rains fell across much of the state last week and cool front followed leaving temps in the mid 80's for a few days. More summer like temps will be back later in the week. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00 lower. Packer demand moderate to good. A total of 564 cows and bulls sold with 70 percent going to packers.
